How can i help homeless children?

I give you a big pat on the back for wanting to help people who've gone through the same as you. You can go to local community services area that helps homeless/underpriviledged children, etc. and talk to them .. you know, give them hope and let them know that there are people out there who cares. You can donate clothing, food drives ? and motivate them to be successful later on in life.
