Is it Allergies or a Cold? Someone tell me its killin me :p 10 points!?

So i got these allergies or cold on monday and it is now saturday. I dont feel achy or sick i am just VERY congested and sometimes i cough because i am so congested. Thats basically it but sometimes i sneeze a lot. I think its allergies but i have been taking this allergy medicine and its like not working for some reason. Idk if its because im supposed to take it every 12 hours or if its just not good enough. WHICH IS ITTT? HELP!
