What happens to the covalent bonds between iodine atoms when crystal of iodine is heated till it vapourises?

i only know the first 2 questions. The covalent bonds stay the same, as the iodine is not going through a chemical change. And if it melts the molecules change from in a fixed orderly position and vibrating about its fixed position to arranged randomly, sliding over each other.
