What is the best way to save on over sea's shipping?

Hi, I am a musician that presses vinyl. I live in the UK but most of my musical collaborators are from the US, thus our market is the US and the EU. My problem is this, I have about 100 records/vinyl copies of my new single. I would like to send 100 or so to 100 different radio stations throughout the US. My only problem with this idea is the fee of postage and packaging. To send 1 packet containing 1 vinyl single to the States usually costs me around �10. Going by that estimate, I would be looking at around �1000 if I wanted to send 100 packets to the US. For me this is impossible. I simply do not have that kind of money to spend on shipping. My question is stupid but a last ditch attempt in finding an alternative to the expense of external postage and packaging. Are their any other companys other than the Royal Mail? Do the Royal Mail allow deals? I'm stuck with my dilema. All help is very muh appreicated. Thank you.
