Why does the left keep repeating that Bush destroyed the country when most of us lived it and thrived?

Same reason the cons are saying Obama is destroying America. So 9/11 is not dubya's fault, even with his superior leadership, he could not have seen it coming? I am shocked. I thought Dubya was the American president, freeing other countries, I do not think that is in the job specs. Obama is killing terrorists, isn't that making the country safe. He is trying to turn around the economy that collapsed under Dubya, then the entire country can prosper and thrive, not just a few.
