LG GSA-H55N DVD Writer problem?

hi guys......i already asked this question previously......i bought an LG dvd writer(GSA H55N) recently.......iam using nero 7 startsmart that was provided in a cd along with the dvd writer.....the writer is able to read/write cds cleanly and properly.....there is no problem with cds.......but regarding dvds it is able to read any kind of dvd.....but the problem is with the writing of dvds.......its able to write some of the brands of dvds like sony,sony R/W,puma......but when i insert brands like moser baer,scorpio,etc and start writing data using nero 7 its progress comes to 1% and stops there and it never progresses after that(once i sat patiently and even tried for about 1:30-2 hrs)......someone said me here in yahoo answers to update my firmware version......i even updated to the latest firmware version..........but still the same problem persists and continues.......what else can i do????can anyone give me an appropriate and accurate solution to this????
