Should I pay for a medical test (a colonoscopy) wherein the doctor gave me a?

totally inadequate prep" I have since had to go through a CAT scan with iodine, which was inconclusive and a real fun barium enema that the radiologist concluded was either a polyp or stool (I drank four bottles of citrate of magnesia over four days--I was CLEAN. I had to point out the the gastroenterologist that stool doesn't have nerve endings and doesn't hurt. I have had pain for months. All this started May 7 and concluded today when I fired my gastroenterologist for negligence. I have lived in fear of cancer for 5+ weeks. Should I pay for all of this inept medicine or not? (Not to mention that at this point I glow in the dark!) What would you do?
